MSC: 1st Grade Beginners Virtual Chess Club Spring 2021
This semester, Mid South Chess will be dividing its virtual chess clubs up by grade and experience level. This class is for 1st graders who are wanting to learn the game and do not have access to a chess club through their school.
There are two options for days: Classes will be available on Wednesday's from 5pm to 6pm and on Thursday's from 5pm-6pm. Parents should choose which day they prefer during registration. Families who want their children in chess but are not available on these days should email [email protected] for instructions about alternate classes available.
Classes will meet via zoom. A Meeting link will be emailed out to parents the day before the class begins.
The first class meeting will be the week of February 1st, and classes will run for 12 weeks thereafter.
Classes will be taught by experienced Mid South Chess Instructors with Special Guests from around the World.
